Cocoa Couture was established in Cheltenham in 1970 selling antique textiles. Cara acquired the business in 1990. As well as creating beautiful bespoke wedding gowns and lingerie, Cara also spends hundreds of hours restoring  vintage and historical clothing giving them a new lease of life to be enjoyed again.
 
Her love of antique artworks, fabrics and tapestries from the 17th, 18th and 19th Century has also led her to expand and develop her own range of individual silks and fabrics to create unique historically based clothing and handmade accessories - The Cocoa Treasures Collection. All of the designs are printed locally in the Cotswolds in the heart of the UK on the finest pure silks and softest velvets, lovingly finished by hand.
